April 13, 2009 | On the Road Again... MDR has been currently traveling the open roads! Since the past two weeks, we have traveled to Chicago and the UP (Upper Michigan). We have enjoyed our travels so far immensely. Chicago Our stay in Chicago was great! We got a chance to eat a 'chicago-style' pizza, feel the blues, and saw some drunk guy get kicked out of a bar. That is Chicago at its best! Did I mention outrageous tolls? I mean seriously, who has a random combination of 30c, 80c, and $1.30 just sitting around? NOT US! But honestly, we had a great time! The 'UP' "O Ya, U Betcha" Since one of our members have once lived in the UP, it was a weird homecoming of sorts. For the rest of us, it was a strange journey to another dimension! Just kidding, we all enjoyed the trip. We had the privilege to play a benefit at Northern Michigan University and hope to be back very soon! MDR can definitely feel the road calling, so make the bed and open the windows, we are coming to your town soon! |
